Frank Klausz Master CabinetmakerFrank's Cabinet Shop began in 1967, when Frank Klausz and his wife came to America, specializing in fine furniture reproductions and custom architectural fixtures. Frank's woodworking career began with an apprenticeship in Hungary at the age of 14, learning the techniques that have remained essentially unchanged since the Middle Ages.


Continuing in the fine woodworking tradition handed down by Frank, his long-time journey-men John Darrow and Doug Bloom continue the exquisite craftsmanship, hand-tool skills and understanding of superior quality for all types of custom woodworking projects so characteristics of Frank’s work.

John has partnered with Frank Klausz quite a long time, starting in the shop about twenty-two years ago. John's has focused on wood finishing techniques, and bringing out the beauty of the natural wood grain

Doug BloomNetwork

Doug's experience in cabinetry began as a young cub scout with building a pinewood derby car. This project was hosted at Frank’s Cabinet Shop with his Cub Scout troop. Frank invited the entire troop into his shop, and helped each boy on his project.
